Arrowhead Youth & Family Services is a 501c3 non-profit organization which depends on the financial support of our community. We appreciate any support we receive in the form of cash or in-kind donations, year-end giving, bequests, memorials or tributes in honor of loved ones, and other planned giving opportunities. All contributions made to Arrowhead are tax deductible.
Memorial Giving Program
The Memorial Giving Program enables donors to memorialize a deceased loved one. To participate in the Memorial Giving Program, please send a memorial donation along with the name of the person to be memorialized and the name and address of that person's family. Arrowhead will notify the family of the memorialized person, and the donor will receive a card to acknowledge receipt of the gift.
Living Tributes Program
The Living Tributes Program allows donors an opportunity to honor a family member or friend. Living tribute gifts are usually made for a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, retirement, or graduation. To participate in the Living Tributes Program, please send a donation with your name and address along with the name and address of the person being honored and the occasion being celebrated. Arrowhead notifies the individual being honored by letter or card and sends the donor a letter of acknowledgement.
Arrowhead has been able to transform the lives of youth-at-risk for over 60 years because of planned gifts made by generous supporters one or two generations ago. You can help to ensure Arrowhead's continued success by making a planned gift of your own. Planned giving means weaving a charitable gift into your overall financial plan, and plannedgifts usually provide you with substantial income and estate tax advantages. Common types of planned gifts include a bequest in your will, gifts of appreciated property or stocks, charitable trusts, revocable trusts, gift of residence or farm with life estate, life insurance, and retirement plan gifts.
Planned gifts are an excellent way to support Arrowhead's future in the most impactful and meaningful way possible. To discuss planned giving, please contact Mary Davidson at (309) 799-7044 ext. 270 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Each November, we send a direct mail appeal to our supporters. Your gift to our annual fund helps us to continue our life-changing work with youth-at-risk. Together, we are creating a brighter future for young men and women and helping our entire community.
Please send holiday gifts to Arrowhead's Annual Fund, P.O. Box 370, Coal Valley, IL, 61240
Avoid the hassle of selling an old vehicle by donating it to Arrowhead. We sell it at our public vehicle auction, and you can claim the selling price as a deduction on your tax return. Plus, you will be helping to support Arrowhead's mission of transforming the lives of youth-at-risk.
To arrange a vehicle donation, call Rosa Torres at (309) 799-7044 ext. 225. Vehicles can be in working or non-working condition. If you are unable to bring a vehicle to the Arrowhead campus, special arrangements can be made for Arrowhead staff to pick it up from you. All donated vehicles require a valid title.
