Programs for Girls

Arrowhead expanded its programming in 2004 to include residential treatment services for girls.  Services for girls are offered under the traditional program and utilize strengths-based cognitive behavioral therapy in a group setting.  Some therapeutic changes have been made to ensure that we are most effectively meeting the needs of adolescent girls (gender-specific treatment).

The girls live in a house on grounds separate from the boy’s living quarters.  The female residents have only limited, controlled contact with our male residents.  The girls attend Arrowhead’s private non-public special education school on campus and have access to all of our grounds and facilities.
